waiting for us. Fruit is one of the things we shall eat in heaven.
Q.14 How will Jesus feel when He presents to His Father those who have accepted His help to overcome? (Those who trusted in His divine power)
Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty dominion and power, both now and ever.' Jude 24,25. Jesus will experience exceeding joy. Did you notice that it says that He is able to keep you from falling? You simply have to ask for help when you are tempted, believe the strength will be given you, then turn away from the temptation, and patiently persevere to do right. This is trusting in divine power. You can be faultless now. That means to be restored to what Adam and Eve were originally like in character. |
Q.15 The important question is: when will all this take place?
The Bible gives us prophecies to tell us where we are in time. There are many different prophecies but the basis of them is found in Daniel 2. It is a dream of a great image made of different metals. Each metal represents a nation that was connected with the history of God's people. The head was made of gold, the chest of silver, the belly of brass, the legs of iron, and the feet of iron and clay that would not hold together. They all follow in sequence so it gives us a time line for the human race. It also shows us that there is not much time left. In the time line, we are in the feet. There are no more major kingdoms to come in the world. The next event will be the attempted unity of the world with international emphases - population issues, pollution measures, security forces and others, with a final global test for all people, whether to worship either on Sunday in support of these united measures - or on the seventh-day Sabbath of our Creator to show our loyalty to Him. Jesus will then return to deliver His obedient people. Evil can be destroyed once and for all. That time is nearly upon us. |

Q.16 What does the Bible call the glorious second coming of Jesus?
'Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.' Titus 2:13. It is something to hope for. It is the time when all evil will be ended. Satan will be doomed, and all agencies working for Him will be no more. Maybe now you can understand the title Health and Hope. The lifestyle in these pages shows you through a health plan, as a living object lesson, how you can overcome appetite-temptations. The same method will show you God’s plan for helping you overcome sin-temptations. This is the only way you can be ready for the both final test and for His coming in glory. |

Q.17 How does Jesus describe the world just before he returns?
‘ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and there shall be famines and pestilences (diseases) and earthquakes in diverse places.' Matthew 24:5,6,7.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be, for as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and knew not till the flood came and took them away.' Matthew 24:37,38,39. In his gospel, when writing of the same time, Luke, a doctor, recorded these words: 'And take heed to yourselves lest at any time your heart be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and the cares of this life, so |
